Track record

A transparent, dated record of a paper portfolio built from the ranking — risk-adjusted position sizing, no borrowing, no real capital. Published so the scoring can be judged on results over time, not claims. Benchmarked against SPY over the same window.

The honest read — We are ahead of the S&P.
Since the book went live it has returned +18.8% against the S&P’s +3.6% — ahead by +15.1%. Treat that with the same skepticism you would give a loss. A strong stretch is no proof it works, and an unproven edge earns no confidence from a good print. What counts is the pattern over time, not any one month.
Sample: 49 trading sessions since 2026-06-22. That is too short to separate skill from luck. Every figure on this page is marked from the paper account’s own end-of-day record.

How to read this record

This is a paper portfolio. Real prices, no real money, marked against the S&P 500 from the day it went live. We show it the same in the red as in the green — a track record that only kept the good weeks would be worth nothing.

It will lag, sometimes for quarters at a time. It buys quality the market has given up on, which is a patient, contrarian position: in a market led by momentum and mega-caps, it waits, and it trails. That’s the cost of the stance, not a sign it’s broken — and a strong month is no proof it works. The unit of judgment is years, not weeks.

We don’t soften the hard number. When the book is behind, that gap is the first thing on this page — dated, with the drawdown beside it.

Here’s what would actually count against the method: years of underperformance against the S&P through a market that favored quality and value — or the news and insider overlays adding nothing over the plain ranking. Those are the tests. A bad quarter isn’t one of them.

The edge is unproven. That’s precisely why the record is public and dated — so time settles it, not us. Evidence for your judgment, not advice.
